     In non-emergency situations, American Air Ambulance provides our customers a written quote explaining all services provided. The price quoted is the final price and there are no hidden costs. We can assure that your loved ones are receiving the absolute best medical care because we promise to meet or beat any competitor's rate. You no longer have to settle for a less effective service because it is offered at a cheaper rate. American Air Ambulance will match a lower rate but continue to offer a high standard of medical care.

If you obtain a written quote from a licensed, insured, nationally accredited air ambulance service for a similar aircraft and medical team on the same day at a lower price, American Air Ambulance will meet or beat that price.

Our emergency medical transport plane rates are based on formulas intended to provide our customers a fair price for superior service.

Aircraft: $2.80 - $4.50 / mile Based on type of aircraft
Medical Equipment and Supplies: $350 per flight Includes standard equipment.  Isolettes and balloon pumps are extra
Maintenance: $300 per Take-off Assessment of average charges
Ground Ambulances: $300 plus $14 per mile per patient transport  
Wheelchair Vans: $100 plus $3 per mile per patient transport
Overnight Charges: $250 per crew member per night Some Asian locations are higher
Preparation Costs: $500 Includes medical evaluation, telephone and aircraft preparation
Euro Control: $2500 All European trips are assessed a fee by air traffic control for flying into Europe's air space
International Fees/Permits: $800 - $1,500 Actual charges
Medical Team
     Level 1 $500 Critical Care Nurse or Paramedic
     Level 2 $1,000 Critical Care Nurse and Paramedic
     Level 3 $1,200 Respiratory Therapist plus Critical Care Nurse or Paramedic
